Great holiday movies to watch

Hey there! The December holidays are slowly creeping up on us! That’s why I’m here today with some great holiday movies to watch!!

1. Home Alone 1 & 2

I like Home Alone 1 better than Home Alone 2, but you should still watch both! They are classic holiday movies. In both of these home alone films Kevin (the main character) gets separated from his large family during their winter break. He hilariously deals with thieves and makes friends along the way. In Home Alone 1 he becomes friends with “serial killer” old man Marley. In Home alone 2, he becomes friends with Pigeon Lady. These movies are great!

2. The Grinch (2018) & How the Grinch stole Christmas (2000)

Both of these movies are amazing in my opinion. How the Grinch stole Christmas (2000) is a live action grinch movie that is slightly adapted from the original grinch story. It is a hilarious movie! I love it. The Grinch (2018) is an animated movie which is also slightly adapted from the original story. Both movies carry the overall same message which is love and kindness.

3. Noelle

Noelle is another hilarious christmas movie. Basically, Noelle, the new Santa’s, sister (and old Santa’s daughter) has to save Christmas because her brother is not doing well with all the pressure.

4.Godmothered

This is a relatively new movie (it came out in 2020), but it is still good. It is about a fairy godmother who tries to prove that fairy godmothers are still useful (to put it simply). I liked this movie.

5. Santa Paws

This is a great movie! The puppies are so cute! The storyline is also good. I watched this a long time ago so I don’t really remember everything about it, except that I liked the movie!

6. The Princess Switch 1, 2, and 3

I love the Princess Switch trilogy. These movies are super funny! I love the character Fiona who makes her first appearance in the 2nd movie. The 3rd one came out on Netflix!

7. Elf

This is a super funny movie! Buddy is an elf who goes to New York to find his real father.
