Hey there. I recently watched black panther wakanda forever. Here are my thoughts:

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
This movie was absolutely amazing. I love how it was so mature and sensitive around Chadwick’s death (R.I.P). They killed off the character T’Challa, I think they made the right decision. I feel if they had tried to find a new actor to replace Chadwick, or CGI something, it would not have been respectful to Chadwick and it would spark A LOT of controversy and hate.
This movie was very different than the first black panther. In no way will I even try to compare this to the first movie. Both movies are too different to compare, Chadwick Boseman unfortunately passed away and could not be Black Panther in Wakanda forever, so the circumstances are just too different to compare. If that makes sense…..
I will say, the first movie was very light and happy like any normal superhero movie. Wakanda Forever was filled with emotions and so much depth, there were happy parts and all, but you just get a very different vibe. The villian, Namor (played by Tenoch Huerta) does such a good job at being a sympathetic antagonist. They gave him a backstory and depth, and in the end he just wanted what was good for his people.
There were some parts in the movie which were VERY emotional (someone died–other than T’Challa… I won’t say who in case you haven’t watched it, but this affects someone else alot). I got emotional at the end when they had a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Lift Me Up by Rihanna (the title track) matches the movie soooo much.
The midcredits scene made me so happy. I will try my best not to spoil it, but it made ME SOOOOOO HAPPY! IT was SOOOO CUTE AND WHOLESOME!
Spoilers: Shuri was thinking about her brother and his passing and then Nakia and someone came and something happened hehe. You could see shuri’s face light up when she saw someone and started talking to them…. ( I am trying my best not to spoil it)!
