How to make an effective studying schedule!

Made on 4-12-2021

Hey there! Today I am going to be talking about how to make an effective studying schedule. I know that for an extensive amount of people next month (I am assuming) is packed with finals, AP exams, and other forms of testing, so if you need to motivate yourself to study here’s the place! I myself have final exams next month, and I like to start studying at least one month before. Here are some ways I like to make a studying schedule that keeps me on track.

There are 3 steps on effective studying and in this post I will show you them and what they do for your studying.

Step number 1: Making a schedule!

Here are some methods on how to make your schedule:

Method number 1: Planning!

This first method is planning. For this method you take a planner ( or something else, it can be whatever you want) and mark down the days you want to study something. For example I could put in my planner to study for math and physics on a Wednesday. This is a very successful method in my opinion, because you are planning for the future in an organized way!

Method number 2: Reminders!

This is another great method for setting a schedule for studying. This method is very simple to do! All you have to do is take one of your devices ( phone, tablet, computer, etc..) and set alarms everyday for a specific time ( we will go more in depth about the time you pick in step 2) you want to study at. If you have an apple device I recommend using the built in app Reminders, or the clock app (to set an alarm, go to the Clock app, press the + button, set your alarm and click save). If you have android device, I suggest that you either set alarms on google calendar or go to your clock app (to set an alarm press the + button on the bottom right, set your alarm and click save). When I do this I make sure my alerts are loud so that I will hear it and remember to study!

That is it for methods of setting a study schedule. Let’s move on to the next step: Time!

Step number 2: Time!

Now that you have made your schedule, you might be asking yourself, when will I find the time to do this? You have to find time at which you are available. Studying in the morning or evening is best, your brain will retain the information much better. Now you will probably have a follow up question: ” How long should I study one subject?” The answer to that is actually however long you want. I do have some suggestions and advice from personal experience. I normally never study longer that 1 hour IN A ROW. I like to break up studying into 30 minutes then take a break, and study again for 30 minutes. In my opinion studying for more that 3 hours in a day is way to strenuous, and you will probably be so bored that you won’t retain any of the information you studied. In summary of that, I recommend studying less than 3 hours a day, and taking breaks every 30 minutes.

Step number 3: Execution of your plan!

This is the final step! This step is simple, follow your schedule, time, and get good results!

Funny story…(kind of)

made on 4-9-2021

Hey there I’m back! You may have noticed that the homepage changed a bit. If you didn’t feel free to check it out whenever you want to! Let’s just get into the story!

Backstory:

This all started out earlier yesterday (4-8-2021).. I was making a few minor changes to my website (I won’t go that far into it because I don’t want to bore you with the changes I wanted to make!) I wanted to fix a small thing which was bothering me. I changed the whole theme of my website, and it seemed as if everything was still there in perfect shape! I was wrong!! As soon as I refreshed the page, everything on my homepage was gone! (Luckily only pictures and other things were gone, no blog posts or anything on my other pages were deleted.) I was very upset even though no posts were deleted, everything on my homepage was gone. I was not going to let that slide because I had spent hours and hours doing things to my homepage, and getting it just the way I liked! Plus the homepage is the thing that makes readers interested in your website, and now that mine was blank it would look very boring to visitors. I tried very hard to go back but nothing was working, I realized that I had to start from scratch!

What I did

Obviously I was very bummed that I had to remake my entire homepage, but there was no way to go back and restore everything, so here’s what I did. I realized I was very lucky that no blog posts or designs were erased, because I have not saved them to my computer, which I will try to do in the future 🙂 My homepage was entirely wiped out, like I have said MANY times! I realized I should stop whining about it and do something. So I tried to redo everything like I did previously from memory! I had to add a subscribe button, pictures, a review form, and pizazz because no one likes boring home pages. I started working on it and added everything back in again, it took me about 35 minutes! I was so relived that I had fixed everything! I hope that if you are new to having a website or blogging, try to remember everything you did just incase.. I also recommend saving your posts to your device!!

Anyways, I hope you guys learned something from my mistake! I hope you enjoyed this post! Please comment ( if you want to) I love hearing from you! Please consider subscribing (it’s free) Thank you so much for reading this post! Bye catch you later!

Jazzy juices pt 2!!

made on 4/4/2021

Hey guys its me again with another post, so I recently posted a poll on my home page that let you guys pick what my next post should be. According to that 50% of you want another jazzy juices post so here it is! Hope you enjoy.

*I have some important things mentioned in my last post, I will still mention it in this post but here is my last post anyway. (click on Jazzy Juices) Jazzy Juices!*

Important: I like to use my electric champion juicer to make juice. Electric juicers are recommended but not necessary, you can also use a blender or a handheld juicer. The only difference between the juicer juice and the blender juice is that juicers remove most of the fibers from the fruits and vegetables that you use in your juice, while blenders just blend it so the blender juice will be thicker. Make sure that if you are using a juicer do not add ice in the juicer. The ice can ruin the juicer, instead add the ice in the juice AFTER it has been made. I am not responsible if you damage your juicer by not reading this part. If you are using a blender you can add in the ice, but if your blender is weak I wouldn’t recommend blending in the ice. You can add sweetener in your juice, but I don’t because the fruits are naturally sweet. With that being said let’s jump into it.

Kiwi pineapple

This juice is great for pineapple lovers like me! Serving size 3-5 people

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 kiwis – remove the skin
  • small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Cut all of your fruits and vegetable.
  2. Add in your pineapple, kiwis, and ginger (one at a time)
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Berry blastoff

This is a healthy juice which has an abundance of berries. Serving size 3-5 people.

  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • around 1 cup (or a handful) of grapes
  • 4-5 strawberries
  • 3-5 raspberries
  • small bit of ginger (optional)
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. cut up your fruits (and optional ginger)
  2. Add in your fruits and ginger-(if you desire) one at a time
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Lime mint refresher

This is the perfect drink for those hot summer days! You will be begging for more! I would recommend using a blender for this one, but you can use a juicer. Serving size 3-5 people

  • 2 lemons or 2 limes
  • a handful of mint
  • about 1 1/2 cup of water
  • juicer/blender – for this drink I use a blender
  • optional: ice (since it is a refresher I strongly recommend adding ice)
  1. Cut up your lemons/limes and mint leaves
  2. Add your fruit and vegetable in one at a time
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for reading this, I hope you try and enjoy one of these recipes. If you make one of these juices I would appreciate it if you wrote about the juice and your experience in the comments! I hope you liked this post. Please consider subscribing, it’s free! Catch you later! Bye!

Jazzy juices!

made on 3/20/2021

Hey there, it’s me again and I’m doing a jazzy juices post today. When I make these juices I use my electronic juicer (champion juicer). If you don’t have an electronic juicer you can just use a hand juicer or a blender. The difference between the juice from a blender and juice from the juicer is that the juicer juice is going to. be more fine because all of the fibers and removed. The blender juice, blends all of the fruit or vegetable, which means it is thicker. Anyways let’s jump right into it.

*You can add any sweetener you want to the drink ( I don’t because the fruits are naturally sweet)

Green Jungle

This is a healthy juice which has plenty of fruits and veggies. Serving size 3-4 people.

  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • around 1 cup (or a handful) of grapes
  • a handful of spinach
  • 1/2 of a carrot
  • small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits and vegetables in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

Orange you glad you tried this juice out?

Sorry for the pun 😅, I couldn’t resist! This citrus focused juice will help your mind get back on track, and is a yummy drink overall. Serving size 3-4 people.

  • 1-2 oranges
  • small bit of ginger
  • 1/2 of a carrot
  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits and vegetable in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

A grape adventure!

Once again, my apologies for the pun, but it was just begging to be used! This juice is one of my favorites! I hope you try it out! Serving size around 3-4 people.

  • 1 apple seedless
  • About 1 cup or a handful of grapes (red or green)
  • a small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

That is it for today’s juices. I hope you try some of these recipes, if so please send a picture or a review in the comments.
