Hey there it’s me again! I have some important news to share..

First of all, happy earth day!

Since the end of the school year is coming up, that means finals are even closer. I have 3 weeks until finals. I really want to focus on studying and my grades for the next few weeks, so I probably will not be posting every week. I will try my best to post at least once a week, but I can’t guarantee that I will post every week! When my finals are over, I will alert you guys and post more frequently! Thank you for understanding! Bye, catch you later!!

A (sort of) review- Canva Free!

Made on 4- 21-2021

**This post IS NOT SPONSORED***

Hey there, I’m back with another blog post! This is kind of a review of a very good site called canva! Let’s hop into it!!

Canva- Overall

Canva is basically a design app! I love it! You can make presentations, collages, posters, etc.. the possiblities are endless! There are is a free canva version, and enterprise version, and a pro version. All you need for the free version is an email adress. The enterprise version is $30/month and is for business purposes. The pro version is $119.99/year ( $99.99/month) Which is a good deal, but not necessary for a regular person that only makes stuff on canva for personal use. I don’t really know the copyright rules between canva pro and canva enterprise, but you can look that up if you are really interested. The free version is still pretty great!

https://www.canva.com/pricing/

Canva free vs. Pro

There are a few things that you can do on canva pro that you can’t do on canva free. On canva free you can only use a limited amount of fonts, because some are pro fonts, and you only have a limited amount of elements you can add because some are free and some are pro elements. With Canva pro you can resize your canvas after making it which is a pretty handy tool to use, if you ever get any dimensions wrong.

This is also from https://www.canva.com/ it is a collage I made- I will not show the whole collage because it may have copyright images

To know if something is canva pro, it will have a little crown picture on the side as shown in the picture. ONly with Canva pro and enterprise will you be able to add a transparent background or compress file while downloading. There is also this thing on Canva called a brand kit ( it is on the side menu) where you can add logos brand colors and things like that. If you use Canva free then you can only create one color palette for your brand and only 3 colors maximum in that palette. With canva free you can only create 2 folders.

from https://www.canva.com/

It may seem that canva free may be bad, but trust me, it is great! I use it and even though I don’t have as many options as Canva pro does, I can work with it.

How I use canva:

You may be asking how I use canva so here’s how! Some of my “thumbnails” for my blog posts are made with canva! My logo was made with Canva. I also use Canva for personal things that are not on this website, I make collages on Canva, presentations, animations etc. I really like using Canva because I feel like I’m in control of everything, there is no corrector that tells me that everything in my design has to be perfectly staight. I love all the fonts and elements you can use too, it add a bunch of personality to my designs!

That is it for this (sort of) review of Canva Free! Thank you so much for reading this post! I hope you enjoyed it. If you liked this post please try to subscribe, it’s free! What should I write about?

made on 4-21-2021

Hey there, it’s me again and I have writer’s block..

I can’t think of anything to write! As some of you may know, I have created a form in which you could rate this website and tell me what you would like to see me write about. That form hasn’t been as successful as I hoped it would be.. So I decided to make a post about it so that it would get a bit more attention.

If you have any ideas on what should write about please tell me in the comments (if you can)! Thanks for reading this! Catch you later!

Apple event 4-20-2021!!

made on 4-20-2021

Hey there, today I am VERY excited because there was an apple event!! I am going to be discussing the products they announced! There is no more to be said so let’s just get into it

1. Apple card family

I will not go that big into this because it is just a small update but basically you can now add family members to your apple card family that are over the age of 13.

2. Re design of apple podcasts.

This one is pretty straight forward. I won’t go that in-depth about the re-design because this personally is not that big of a difference/ importance to me.

3. New color of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini

This one was pretty surprising! They announced that there would be a new color of the iphone 12 and 12 mini family: Purple!

from apple’s website: https://www.apple.com/

4. Airtags

In videos that were predicting what was going to be announced during the apple event, Airtags were common. Airtags are little tags you can buy ( $29 for 1 $99 for 4) to place on things like your keys, your bag, etc.. so that you don’t lose the items you put your airtags on.

from apple’s website: https://www.apple.com/

5. Apple tv 4k and Re- designed remote!

This new version of the apple TV has the A12 Bionic chip, a re-designed remote, and a 4K high frame rate HDR.

from apple’s website: https://www.apple.com/

5. Colorful iMacs – M1 chip!

I was super excited for this one!! There were so many rumors that there would be new iMacs, colorful ones!! These new iMacs have the M1 chip, are claimed to have the best video, mic, and speakers in a mac, a 4.5 K retina display and is 24 inches. This also has a refreshed magic keyboard with a touch id option. The keyboard mouse and trackpad all match the color mac you buy. The base model has 4 color options and the other models have 7 options.

from apple’s website: https://www.apple.com/

5. Ipad pro refresh -M1 chip, 5G, Center stage, Liquid retina XDR display, and up to 2TB storage! Magic keyboard new color- white!

First of all, I was very pleased to find out they had done a refresh of the ipad pro ( I kind of knew it was coming but still I was happy). This new ipad pro still comes in 11 inches and 12.9 inches. The ipad pro can now have up to 2 TB storage instead of just 1 TB. This new ipad pro also has the option for 5G if you buy wifi + cellular. It has center stage which focuses only on you when you are in video calls! The 12.9 in model has the liquid retina XDR display which is taken from the Pro Display XDR. Both the new iPad pros have the M1 chip as well! They still use the same apple pencil 2, Smart keyboard folio, and magic keyboard. Though there is new color option for the magic keyboard- white!

My travels pt 1- Hawaii!

written on 4-17-2021

Hey there it’s me again and I’m back with a travel post! I have been having a bit of writer’s block, and this idea was amazing. I hope to make this a series because I think travel is very fascinating. With all of that being said, let’s get into it!

My travels to Hawaii!

I went to Hawaii around a year ago (2020) when corona virus was not that big. I went there with my mom, dad, and sister, it was amazing. We stayed in an Airbnb house with a view of the ocean. We were staying on the island of O’ahu ( the main island where the state capital Honolulu is ). We went there in March for around 5 days. It was kind of a gift for my mom’s birthday, she loved it! One thing I regret from the trip is, I wish that we had went to the beach more often, since it was spring time the weather and the beach was amazing! Something that I learned on my trip there was that it rains every single day! I love the rain because where I live, we don’t get it a lot. That is a somewhat summary/backstory to my trip, now let’s actually talk about what we did.

Day 1: Boring day

Hawaii is behind all of the USA in time. Hawaii is 1 hour behind alaskan time, 2 hours behind pacific, 3 hours behind mountain time, 4 hours behind central, and 5 hours behind eastern. If you’re from one the united states you will probably be sleeping and waking up early. We arrived at the Honolulu national airport at around 3 am in Hawaiian time. There was a car rental place near the airport, so we took a bus and got there. We rented a car and drove to our airbnb house. We got unpacked our stuff and just relaxed. If I am remembering correctly we just played some games and watch some TV for the rest of the night.

Day 2: Bus tour!

The next day was a very fun day for me. My family and I went on a bus tour around the island. If you ever get the chance to do this, I would totally recommend it! On the bus tour we went to a bunch of cool places. We went to a farm ( they gave us free kona coffee which was really good), a mountain, a beach, the dole plantation ( the pineapple ice cream there is amazing) and more! After the bus tour, we went to a local mall : Ala Moana. We got some groceries and my dad tried poke for the first time! Poke is kind of like sushi but it’s not, it has vegetables, seafood, and is in a bowl rather than in roll form. We got home and relaxed, it was a pretty fun day.

Day 3 : Beach day #1

Day 3 was a very chill day. In the morning at around 7 Hawaiian time we went to the beach. We made sandcastles, played in the water and did fun activities. We stayed at the beach until around 2 pm. We then went and explored the island in our car. When we came back home we had dinner and slept.

Day 4: Polynesian cultural center

On the 4th day of our trip we went to the Polynesian cultural center. It was very informational and interesting there! It was split into 7 parts representing the 7 islands and their cultures. We were taught how to make an origami fish out of a leaf which I thought was very fun. There were several shows you could attend, and a bunch of kiosks and shops everywhere where you could buy souvenirs or food. I went to this kiosk where they were selling food, I got a strawberry nutella crepe which was delectable! In the night we watched the show ( we are still in the Polynesian cultural center) Ha the breath of life. Ha breath of life was a cool show, there were dancers, fire dancers the action was amazing. Fun fact: Ha breath of life is supposed to be so good that Disney wanted to buy it ( they said no)! After the show we went back home and slept.

Day 5: Another relaxing day.

Today was our last day in Hawaii. All of us had been enjoying this vacation and were sad we had to go, but we made the most of our last day. We went to a beach for sometime and then got Starbucks. After the Starbucks, we went to yet another beach. We didn’t actually swim though because we had just dried off. Near that beach were some interesting stores. There was a nearby mall which I thought had a very unique interior, it had a giant tree in the middle of it, and it was gorgeous. We went to this cool shop called CooNene. CocoNene is where you can buy this wooden board and customize it with little wooden figures. Here is a picture:

This is from their website: https://coconene.com/

We made a board and bought it. After that visit we went home, and slept! We certainly had a great time in Hawaii!

That is it for this post! I really hope if you ever get the chance to go to Hawaii, take it! Thank you so much for reading this post! I hope you enjoyed it, I will most probably be doing more travel blogs, they are so fun to make! If you liked this post please try to subscribe, it’s free! How to make an effective studying schedule!

Made on 4-12-2021

Hey there! Today I am going to be talking about how to make an effective studying schedule. I know that for an extensive amount of people next month (I am assuming) is packed with finals, AP exams, and other forms of testing, so if you need to motivate yourself to study here’s the place! I myself have final exams next month, and I like to start studying at least one month before. Here are some ways I like to make a studying schedule that keeps me on track.

There are 3 steps on effective studying and in this post I will show you them and what they do for your studying.

Step number 1: Making a schedule!

Here are some methods on how to make your schedule:

Method number 1: Planning!

This first method is planning. For this method you take a planner ( or something else, it can be whatever you want) and mark down the days you want to study something. For example I could put in my planner to study for math and physics on a Wednesday. This is a very successful method in my opinion, because you are planning for the future in an organized way!

Method number 2: Reminders!

This is another great method for setting a schedule for studying. This method is very simple to do! All you have to do is take one of your devices ( phone, tablet, computer, etc..) and set alarms everyday for a specific time ( we will go more in depth about the time you pick in step 2) you want to study at. If you have an apple device I recommend using the built in app Reminders, or the clock app (to set an alarm, go to the Clock app, press the + button, set your alarm and click save). If you have android device, I suggest that you either set alarms on google calendar or go to your clock app (to set an alarm press the + button on the bottom right, set your alarm and click save). When I do this I make sure my alerts are loud so that I will hear it and remember to study!

That is it for methods of setting a study schedule. Let’s move on to the next step: Time!

Step number 2: Time!

Now that you have made your schedule, you might be asking yourself, when will I find the time to do this? You have to find time at which you are available. Studying in the morning or evening is best, your brain will retain the information much better. Now you will probably have a follow up question: ” How long should I study one subject?” The answer to that is actually however long you want. I do have some suggestions and advice from personal experience. I normally never study longer that 1 hour IN A ROW. I like to break up studying into 30 minutes then take a break, and study again for 30 minutes. In my opinion studying for more that 3 hours in a day is way to strenuous, and you will probably be so bored that you won’t retain any of the information you studied. In summary of that, I recommend studying less than 3 hours a day, and taking breaks every 30 minutes.

Step number 3: Execution of your plan!

This is the final step! This step is simple, follow your schedule, time, and get good results!

Funny story…(kind of)

made on 4-9-2021

Hey there I’m back! You may have noticed that the homepage changed a bit. If you didn’t feel free to check it out whenever you want to! Let’s just get into the story!

Backstory:

This all started out earlier yesterday (4-8-2021).. I was making a few minor changes to my website (I won’t go that far into it because I don’t want to bore you with the changes I wanted to make!) I wanted to fix a small thing which was bothering me. I changed the whole theme of my website, and it seemed as if everything was still there in perfect shape! I was wrong!! As soon as I refreshed the page, everything on my homepage was gone! (Luckily only pictures and other things were gone, no blog posts or anything on my other pages were deleted.) I was very upset even though no posts were deleted, everything on my homepage was gone. I was not going to let that slide because I had spent hours and hours doing things to my homepage, and getting it just the way I liked! Plus the homepage is the thing that makes readers interested in your website, and now that mine was blank it would look very boring to visitors. I tried very hard to go back but nothing was working, I realized that I had to start from scratch!

What I did

Obviously I was very bummed that I had to remake my entire homepage, but there was no way to go back and restore everything, so here’s what I did. I realized I was very lucky that no blog posts or designs were erased, because I have not saved them to my computer, which I will try to do in the future 🙂 My homepage was entirely wiped out, like I have said MANY times! I realized I should stop whining about it and do something. So I tried to redo everything like I did previously from memory! I had to add a subscribe button, pictures, a review form, and pizazz because no one likes boring home pages. I started working on it and added everything back in again, it took me about 35 minutes! I was so relived that I had fixed everything! I hope that if you are new to having a website or blogging, try to remember everything you did just incase.. I also recommend saving your posts to your device!!

Anyways, I hope you guys learned something from my mistake! I hope you enjoyed this post! Please comment ( if you want to) I love hearing from you! Please consider subscribing (it’s free) Thank you so much for reading this post! Bye catch you later!

Jazzy juices pt 2!!

made on 4/4/2021

Hey guys its me again with another post, so I recently posted a poll on my home page that let you guys pick what my next post should be. According to that 50% of you want another jazzy juices post so here it is! Hope you enjoy.

*I have some important things mentioned in my last post, I will still mention it in this post but here is my last post anyway. (click on Jazzy Juices) Jazzy Juices!*

Important: I like to use my electric champion juicer to make juice. Electric juicers are recommended but not necessary, you can also use a blender or a handheld juicer. The only difference between the juicer juice and the blender juice is that juicers remove most of the fibers from the fruits and vegetables that you use in your juice, while blenders just blend it so the blender juice will be thicker. Make sure that if you are using a juicer do not add ice in the juicer. The ice can ruin the juicer, instead add the ice in the juice AFTER it has been made. I am not responsible if you damage your juicer by not reading this part. If you are using a blender you can add in the ice, but if your blender is weak I wouldn’t recommend blending in the ice. You can add sweetener in your juice, but I don’t because the fruits are naturally sweet. With that being said let’s jump into it.

Kiwi pineapple

This juice is great for pineapple lovers like me! Serving size 3-5 people

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 kiwis – remove the skin
  • small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Cut all of your fruits and vegetable.
  2. Add in your pineapple, kiwis, and ginger (one at a time)
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Berry blastoff

This is a healthy juice which has an abundance of berries. Serving size 3-5 people.

  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • around 1 cup (or a handful) of grapes
  • 4-5 strawberries
  • 3-5 raspberries
  • small bit of ginger (optional)
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. cut up your fruits (and optional ginger)
  2. Add in your fruits and ginger-(if you desire) one at a time
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Lime mint refresher

This is the perfect drink for those hot summer days! You will be begging for more! I would recommend using a blender for this one, but you can use a juicer. Serving size 3-5 people

  • 2 lemons or 2 limes
  • a handful of mint
  • about 1 1/2 cup of water
  • juicer/blender – for this drink I use a blender
  • optional: ice (since it is a refresher I strongly recommend adding ice)
  1. Cut up your lemons/limes and mint leaves
  2. Add your fruit and vegetable in one at a time
  3. juice/blend
  4. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  5. Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for reading this, I hope you try and enjoy one of these recipes. If you make one of these juices I would appreciate it if you wrote about the juice and your experience in the comments! I hope you liked this post. Please consider subscribing, it’s free! Catch you later! Bye!

Jazzy juices!

made on 3/20/2021

Hey there, it’s me again and I’m doing a jazzy juices post today. When I make these juices I use my electronic juicer (champion juicer). If you don’t have an electronic juicer you can just use a hand juicer or a blender. The difference between the juice from a blender and juice from the juicer is that the juicer juice is going to. be more fine because all of the fibers and removed. The blender juice, blends all of the fruit or vegetable, which means it is thicker. Anyways let’s jump right into it.

*You can add any sweetener you want to the drink ( I don’t because the fruits are naturally sweet)

Green Jungle

This is a healthy juice which has plenty of fruits and veggies. Serving size 3-4 people.

  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • around 1 cup (or a handful) of grapes
  • a handful of spinach
  • 1/2 of a carrot
  • small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits and vegetables in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

Orange you glad you tried this juice out?

Sorry for the pun 😅, I couldn’t resist! This citrus focused juice will help your mind get back on track, and is a yummy drink overall. Serving size 3-4 people.

  • 1-2 oranges
  • small bit of ginger
  • 1/2 of a carrot
  • 1 apple (seedless)
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits and vegetable in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

A grape adventure!

Once again, my apologies for the pun, but it was just begging to be used! This juice is one of my favorites! I hope you try it out! Serving size around 3-4 people.

  • 1 apple seedless
  • About 1 cup or a handful of grapes (red or green)
  • a small bit of ginger
  • juicer/blender
  • optional: ice
  1. Add your fruits in one at a time
  2. juice/blend
  3. add in the optional ice
    – if you are using a blender you can blend in the ice but if you are using a juicer, add in the ice AFTER you make the juice
  4. Enjoy!!

That is it for today’s juices. I hope you try some of these recipes, if so please send a picture or a review in the comments. Please comment any ideas, like this post if you like it, and subscribe to my blog, it’s free! Also keep your eye out for more polls on the homepage. Thank you for reading this post! Catch you later!
